Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Aroche.
Cristina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my business because of my own journey into spirituality and self-development. After hitting rock bottom with my health back in 2012, I had to make adjustments on how I was taking care of myself physically, emotionally and mentally.
This led me to realizing that I was miserable in following the corporate rat race journey and that I was meant to be an entrepreneur. Then in 2013, being inspired by my own journey of natural healing from chronic eczema, I decided to create a holistic health coaching business to support others on their journey of healing from chronic illness.
From this point, I was immersed in the world of self-development and continued to work on myself and become even more connected to my true self. This led me to discovering meditation and opening up my mind to spirituality.
I was obsessed with reading different books and watching YouTube videos from world-renowned authors on the topic of self-development, spirituality and healing. All of this both fascinated and inspired me to become a better person and truly connect to myself on a spiritual level.
Within a year or so, I was making connections with online spiritual communities and I started working with a shaman. This opened me up to the world of energy healing and intuition to a whole deeper level and from there, I discovered my true calling: being a spiritual teacher, mentor and energy healer.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely was not all smooth sailing on this journey. One of the biggest struggles was at the beginning of my journey when I was struggling with chronic eczema and hit rock bottom with my health. This led me to discovering how to become more empowered so that I could follow the path of self-healing, and ultimately, self-discovery and purpose.
Another struggle I experienced was when I first started to put myself out there through video to develop and grow my online business. It felt like I was being vulnerable to the entire world to judge me for who I was and what I was sharing. I had a hard time just being my true self on camera because I lacked confidence in who I was and my ability to help others. This struggle led me to doing some major digging and healing around my self-worth and recognizing the value and transformation that I bring to other people’s lives.
What I’ve learned is that no journey that leads to major growth, opportunities and expansion comes without challenges. It’s the work and healing that we put into work through those challenges that help us find our strength and become more empowered in who we truly are.
My experiences in starting my business were tough at times, but the key was never to give up. I was able to leave my corporate job within ten months of starting my business as a side hustle, and have been running it full time for 2.5 years now.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m a spiritual teacher, mentor, and energy healer. I run my business as a personal brand and fully online, reaching people from all around the world.
My focus is on helping people connect to their true selves by healing and releasing the past and emotional traumas. I help people to discover who they truly are and their purpose so that they can live a life that is fulfilling and joyful. My coaching work is focused on empowering others to take control of their lives and to create what they truly desire to experience and do in life. I specialize in intuitive energy healing techniques to help people achieve their true potential. I also mentor other aspiring healers to help them get clear on their gifts and strengthen their abilities so that they can share these gifts with the world and make an impact in people’s lives.
I’m most proud of the reach and audience I have been able to build through my online presence. It always amazes me that I can connect and support people in such a profound way and create an impact through the power of the Internet!
What sets me apart from others is that my way of teaching and coaching helps people open up to the core of their truth and potential. I help them see themselves in a different light and I help them have a deeper connection to themselves and the Universe. When you have a strong spiritual awareness of yourself, literally anything is possible, and to me, that is the most empowering gift I could give to anyone.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I’m half Cuban, so one of my favorite memories as a child is traveling down to Cuba every year to visit family and spend time in the warmth of the tropics and Caribbean Sea!
