Meet Cristina Garcia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cristina Garcia.

Cristina Garcia

Hi Cristina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Cristina Garcia, owner of Tina’s Tipsy Bottles. My entire childhood, I’ve always been a creative & very crafty child. I always loved to bring my artwork to life and creating something so memorable that can be kept forever. The spring of 2021 is when I made my first ever customized bottle. It was my cousin’s birthday, and I wanted to make her something special, something she would love and keep forever. The moment I starting making that bottle I had the most peaceful feeling, like I knew this is what I was meant to do & more. I will forever remember the feeling I felt as I surprised her with it. The look on her face will forever be engraved into my head. There’s something about being able to make someone’s idea on paper be brought to life and be put on a bottle. It has brought me so much joy to be able to work on so many bottles & has taught me so much. The amount of love & support I have revived these past years has been so amazing and unbelievable that has truly made all of my hard work worth it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I know I can’t be the only one to say that when it comes to being a business owner, it hasn’t been the smoothest road. I for one can say that it has not been an easy road at all. I feel like it’s part of the struggle of being a business owner; the struggle builds character and builds a foundation for your business. The challenges are real when running your business. You have to make sure you’re up to date with content, posting consistently. Do I have enough likes? Are my videos being shared enough? Is there enough orders coming in? Do I have enough followers, what are people saying in the comments? The obstacles for everyone are different, and social media has its ups & downs. I’ve learned to cope with social media to not pay too much attention to all the negative comments. Just continue to do what you love and remember why you started in the first place.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Tina’s Tipsy Bottles brings personality to your bottles. I specialize in making the eye-catching bottles for all my customers & bringing their vision to life. I’m known for my unique bottle artwork & vision. I’m very proud of the overall outcome of my business and how good it feels to see my hard work be recognized. What sets me apart from others is my ability to sit down with a customer and capture their vision, and be able to give it life.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like best about our city is the lovely beach scenery followed by the warm and sunny weather we have. The least thing I like about our city would have to be the cost of living & the horrible traffic we have.
