Hi Crys, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a hippy dippy, freedom loving, numbers crunching soul. You’ll find me with my nose stuck in a book, day dreaming, or loving the heck out of my family and friends. I am celebrating 18 years of marriage with my soulmate, have three beautiful children earthside and one angel baby. I have launched six businesses, with three of them massive failures and three of them currently deemed “successful”. I was a foster child and was adopted. That’s a story for another time. I love to talk about manifesting and gratitude. Lastly, I love shoes. Loud, funky, bold shoes. I just bought my first pair of Angela Scott shoes and I am in love! hahaha
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The HARDEST struggle I faced was eight years ago. I suffered a traumatic brain injury that took me out of play for over six months. My business model was tested to the core. Following the brain injury, I was in PT, OT, and ST for close to 3 years. Multiple appointments a week.
It was humbling because I could no longer type or use the keypad. Being a bookkeeper, that is crucial. I did learn the art of delegation and realized that while I could not use my hands, my brain worked well enough to help train and mentor our team. It forced me to work ON my business versus IN my business. This year we turn 14 and have enjoy the hundreds of clients we have the pleasure of working with.

When biz owners get to keep all their hard earned money in their company vs paying interest, they are free to dream bigger than they ever thought possible. It’s incredible to witness and be a part of.
What sets us apart from others: The fact that we are badass and bold about challenging the status quo of what it means to be a financially free business owner. We often hear that we are business owners only outlet to be completely truthful with about their finances. They tell us that they no longer feel alone and that they always have a sounding board for their ideas and the ROI/impact their ideas will have on their business.
We’d love for your readers to know that is common for business owners not to understand their finances or know how to scale without debt.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Diving into the pool. That first five seconds under water when the weight of the world disappeared. It was me, the water, and peace. In those seconds, the world was made up of magical shimmers of light, water, and joy.
