Meet D’Ann Lynch

Today we’d like to introduce you to D’Ann Lynch.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I am a Raw Artist…I have over 20plus years of beauty*makeup experience and I’ve been in the fashion industry for over 10years. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with models signed and unsigned, I’ve been published internationally in Vogue Italia, Envie Magazine, Fashion Ghana Magazine to name a few. Also, I’ve work with some of the best designers in my community and afar. I’m a mother of two children Asia and Jordan and I’ve been married for 27 years to and amazing man (Fred). In 2012, I won the title of “Makeup Artist of the year” in Dallas, TX through an organization called Raw Natural Born Artist based in Los Angeles, CA. My goal is to get my name abroad in different cities, help young girls with self-esteem and volunteer to help cancer patients. My highest goal would be to work with a major corporation and help developed some type of product awareness program for consumers to help society become more knowledgeable in regards to having better skincare.

Please tell us about your art.
I’m a Professional Internationally Published Makeup Artist. My goal is to unveil the true beauty inside of a woman with or without makeup. First of all my goal is to make sure each and every client is satisfied with my work. (That is my inspiration my clients) My prayer is to encourage, motivate, and inspire each and every client that sits down in my chair through having a welcoming connection and warm inter action. I hope that each client will feels the love, passion, and desire I have for makeup. My artwork is very distinguished in that I have honed to unveil the true beauty inside once I’ve completed my makeup application. My brand is called “Distinguished Looks by D’Ann”

As an artist, how do you define success and what quality or characteristic do you feel is essential to success as an artist?
I define success by drive, passion, and faith. Without all three you may not last long in this industry. One of my famous quotes that I learned several years ago after getting used and turned down by many is that if “No one gives you an Opportunity…CREATE your OWN” opportunity. That’s what kept me going along over the years.
