Today we’d like to introduce you to Danny Berk.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Hey, I’m 25 years old from San Diego California, and I’m a YouTuber! So basically since 2015, I made a living making Snapchat stories pretty crazy right? I was considered a professional Snapchatter/Snapchat star. The way to make a living on Snapchat is I had a lot of followers and made really creative content on my stories and then brands would reach out and pay me to either make really creative content for their Snapchat and then I tell my followers to go over there to help them grow or I would do a sponsored story on my Snapchat making a really cool creative story for the brand. I’ve worked with lots of brands such as Redbull, Jack in the box, Zillow X games, world surf league, MGM resorts international, Circle k, Axe body spray and many more. I was actually the brand ambassador in the face of the Jack In The Box Snapchat for two years. But I ended up quitting Snapchat full-time six months ago because the app was changing and I didn’t really like where was going and views started going down because of the app changing and so some of my best friends are famous YouTubers, and they have 4.6 million on youtube they are Called the funk bros. They told me I should start with vlogging on YouTube. So they taught me how to edit…they taught me what I should do it not to do on YouTube and now for six months now I’ve been working my butt off grinding out content and trying to put out as much as I can/making them with amazing quality. I’m an adrenaline junkie, so I do a lot of crazy things. Also before my social media career, I was a traveling competitive surfer. And I still surf almost every day. But if you guys watch my videos, I love life and live it to the fullest, and my goal is to keep grinding and keep loving Life!
Please tell us about your art.
I actually just wrote pretty much everything on the last one But I make videos because it’s my high. It makes me so happy. Editing a video/creating a video it’s so fun to me, and I love making people laugh and smile. And hopefully, I’m inspiring people as well. One of my actual inspirations is A guy named Shonduras he was the first viral Snapchatter ever. He is now a YouTuber and does other big things as well. But watching his videos got me really inspired, and I was kinda like if he’s making a living off social media why not me, and so I went for it, and it’s crazy how everything happens for a reason, and it all worked out and he’s actually one of my good friends now which is insane.
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
I actually wish I started YouTube earlier but I’m doing it now and I’m loving every bit of it. Advice for other people that are trying to do social media Don’t care what people think, be yourself, love life, work hard, and good things can come from that.
