Today we’d like to introduce you to Daryl Gist.
Daryl, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started doing music at a young age my uncle Lil CS had me rapping at three years old and I later at age 11 started at it again and eventually decided to really take music serious in like 2007 after doing it for years I begun to study the business side learn to record and mix my own music, put my first mixtape out and everything so fast forward to today I am currently doing music with Wiz Khalifa and many other Taylor Gang artist and other Artist with a high level of buzz in the music industry.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not the road has been as bumpy as it gets didn’t feel like a lot 0f people believed in me as an artist lack of support and really had to do and learn things on my own musically with no help or cosigns at all so it’s been a blessing to go through it all and you learn to appreciate the struggles.
Bootsyano – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m my business Bootsyano the artist I am also my brand I think just what makes me who I am is that I am a genuine person and I believe in myself first before anything and I push hard for what I believe in.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Basically to keep being successful and continue to grow as a person and artist and keep being a student to the game because when you stop learning is when you don’t grow.
