Today we’d like to introduce you to Davy Bolkvadze.
Davy, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
The idea for Geeked Communications stemmed from wanting to help organizations and people whose main purpose was to help others. We created this company with the intention to be able to spread the word for non-profit organizations that were looking to make an impact on our local community.
We ultimately decided to branch out into the “for-profit” sector that included local businesses in order to be able to fund our work in the non-profit sector.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. As a starting media company, it was a bit difficult finding clients in the beginning because our name had not yet been established. Since the first few months, we have begun to build a steady clientele base allowing us to build up credibility, ultimately leading to more customers.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Geeked Communications story. Tell us more about the business.
We are a marketing and media company that specializes in creating interesting and unique content for companies to be able to share their message using social media and other tools. We have a team of very talented professional videographers that provide very high-quality content. We take pride in providing quality and affordable work to help local businesses thrive. Our founder, Matthew Iske, also is the founder of a non-profit organization called the “Your Truth Foundation” that deals with the prevention of human trafficking of women and children. Our company allows us to partially fund this cause.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
First and foremost, we always knew that hard work and the quality of our work would be the reason for our success. However, it cannot be denied that serendipitous relationships and situations played a big factor in our growth.
