Hi Denisse, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Denisse Morales, and I was born in Escondido, California in November 2003. Shortly after, life took me to a small town in Guerrero, Mexico, where I grew up surrounded by my parents, siblings, and my loving grandmother. Growing up in a close-knit rural community taught me the value of hard work, family, and staying grounded in my roots.
In January 2023, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life—I returned to the United States on my own to pursue my education and build a better future. It was a completely new chapter filled with challenges, but also with purpose. I didn’t speak much English at the time, but I was determined to learn. I enrolled in college and began studying hard, both academically and personally.
Soon after arriving, I joined Mariachi Dinastía, a group that has become like a second family to me. I sing and play the violin, being part of this mariachi has not only helped me stay connected to my culture but also become a big part of how I support myself financially while studying. Music fills my heart just as much as skincare fills my soul.
At the same time, I enrolled in the Advanced Esthetician Program at Bellus Academy in El Cajon. Through hard work and dedication, I earned my license and certification. Right after graduating, I decided to take a leap of faith and go solo. With the unconditional support of my family, my boyfriend, and his family, I opened Den Esthetics—my own skincare business where I get to help people feel beautiful and confident in their skin.
Today, I balance two passions that I love deeply: beauty and music. My business and my music allow me to keep growing, both personally and professionally. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I give all the glory to God, who has guided me through every step of this journey. I’m beyond grateful for His grace, for opening doors I never imagined, and for placing the right people in my life at the right time.
My story is still being written, but every day I wake up with purpose and get to do what I love. That’s a dream come true—and a blessing I’ll never take for granted.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I had to start from zero: new country, new environment, new language. I barely spoke English and I’m still learning, had no local support system, and faced the emotional weight of homesickness and uncertainty.

It wasn’t easy—managing the demands of school, work, and life in a new country pushed me to my limits.

I’m a Licensed Esthetician and Lash Technician located in San Diego, CA. I specialize in customized facial treatments, but I also offer other services that cater to lashes, brows and waxing. My goal is to help you enhance your beauty and glow from inside out!
I’m certified in Advanced Esthetics, Eyelash extensions, Oncology treatments, chemical peels, Brow and lash laminations, Diamond Microdermabrasion, Etc.
