Meet Devin Stone of Stone Natural Medicine and MetroMD

Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin Stone.

Devin, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Well, my story is a little unconventional. In 2009 I. helped start a medical institute focusing on integrative and regenerative medicine called MetroMD. Over the last ten years, we have worked to develop a world-renowned center that has won many awards and seen many celebrities in Hollywood. After eight years of working here, I decided to go back to school to become a Doctor myself. At this time I attend Bastyr University in San Diego and still manage my company.

During this last 10 year period, I have worked to build my own natural medicine brand as well that I run called Stone Natural Medicine.

My goal in life is to help as many people as possible have access to natural and regenerative therapies that can help better their lives hopefully without the need of pharmaceuticals or surgeries.

Prior to medical school my education and focus has been in Regenerative Medicine specifically stem cell therapies. I have been very fortunate to receive a great and unique education in this field that I plan to use in my medical practice in the future.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
HAHAH no. It has always had its ups and downs. Being a small business owner you are always responsible. At midnight if a pipe breaks in the office or if you need to figure out finances during a slow time. it is ultimately always on you. But this is what I love, it’s always a challenge to face and fun to figure out.

When I added medical school into this mix it just opened the doors to a whole new set of challenges. Understanding how to manage both, business and school, has been a challenge but very rewarding.

Please tell us about Stone Natural Medicine and MetroMD.
We are a regenerative and integrative medicine company. We are located right in the heart of Hollywood CA. With lots of work, we have been able to achieve the market share in our area and become an award-winning center.

We work with a range of clientele from celebrities, athletes and our wonderful Angelenos.

During this time I also started a natural medicine brand around myself. Its called Stone Natural Medicine both my personal Instagram @dstone008 and its @stonenaturalmedicine goal is to help educate people ways to live naturally and healthy. My goal here is to promote “healthcare” and not “sick care” l

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Probably do things slower and more strategic. My business became successful when I was in my early 20s. Owning a sought after center in Hollywood at this time and a little money coming in can definitely get to a young 20-year-old. Looking back I do not regret all the fun I had but now my focus is more in growing and helping as many people as possible. This takes a different approach than I originally had.
