In 2013 artist Dezzy Hollow teamed with MadStrange, an Independent record label in Oceanside, and has since been releasing music and performing. Reaching 3 million views on a song called EBT Boi, gaining coverage from many articles and blogs. Finishing a small tour for the album “Fireside” new music is getting ready to be released. The latest collaboration with Latin American artist Akapellah was featured by Latin Billboard recently for a song called “Airbus”. Expecting a new project to be released by late September
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s A challenge as a career, mainly because it’s always changing. Trying to adapt to what is in, and what people are currently feeling. You never know what song or project people will like until it’s out and streaming. Kind of like a guessing game but with more leverage if your making good content.
Let’s talk about business. Tell us about Dezzy Hollow – what should we know?
As an artist I specialize in making relatable music for people to listen to. I’m known for lyricism and story telling, so I use that to make a connection. Most proud of how far I’ve came with the tools I have and the city I’m from. For a small city artist like myself to be able to pull numbers of listeners and travel it’s something to be proud of, especially doing it independently

I couldn’t have made it this far without my team and label MadStrange, we started working together in 2013 and since then have shared many accomplishments together. Helping me with management, music videos, artwork, and merchandise they really are the all-in-one team I needed to succeed
