Meet Dominique Bradley of gomlproduction in North park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dominique Bradley.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
One thing that most people don’t know about me is that I am super dyslexic. I only say super because the one thing I can’t do has felt like it has been something that has never improved over time. The crazy part about it is that it feels extremely weird saying that out loud. Something that most people seem to pick up very easily was one of the hardest things for me to ever do. At this point, I should probably tell you what it is… I have a reading a writing deficiency that has prohibited my ability to communicate in written form which has been deemed as a “disability.” Here is the one thing I do know… I don’t see the world like most people. And at the age of 27 years old, I know that it was one of my biggest challenges but one of my greatest assets. I now work in the digital marketing space and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I have had the realization that my views and abilities have made me see the space called digital marketing different than most people around me. I have a desire and passion for the customer experience, which has given me the talent to increase conversion on the digital platforms which results in more revenue for the business and better customer experience. In my business, I realize that one of the greatest abilities I have is to bring CEO’s back to their customers. It’s not what is pretty or what you think works, it’s about what your customer wants during the buying process. Think about it this way… we all love to be sold things that we want. Simply put, if I walked into footlocker and I wanted a pair of Jordans to play basketball in, I don’t want someone selling me Chuck Taylors.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has been anything but smooth sailing for me. I excel at audio comprehension and my ability to learn and repeat back my opinion of the subject. When it comes to filling up that white piece of paper with lines, it seems impossible. I used to tell a joke to my good friends when they were down and out… which is just “just make sure when your life comes down to being able to live or die, make sure it’s not based off me writing a good paper”… lol. Even as you are reading this now, I have someone typing my thoughts and that is why it has taken entirely too long to respond to the questions.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Long story short, my job is to bring more revenue to whatever business I partner with by filling in the holes in the bottom of the boat. The analogy that I like to use in digital marketing is that most people are building the top half of their boat although the bottom may have a few small holes. And we all know that even the smallest hole will sink a ship. What sets me apart is my ability to be the architect of your digital marketing strategy. What gives me the most pride is the ability to fix a well thought out plan that was missing a few key components and to see how a simple change in marketing strategy can make a great difference in the end result.
