Meet Emma Hollenback-Betts of EmmaClaire Esthetics

Today we’d like to introduce you to Emma Hollenback-Betts

Hi Emma, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I studied psychology in my undergraduate degree, feeling burnt out in pursuing psychiatry, I went to esthetician school to amplify my expertise in skin as I was simultaneously running a small cosmetics company. I fell in love with the power of touch, making people feel and look their best through skin treatments. After working many med spa jobs and seeing how transactional and money hungry they were, I opened my solo practice, specializing in treating acne.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I absolutely faced hardships, particularly people making me feel like aesthetics is a materialistic, superficial, thoughtless profession that I should give up to pursue higher level education that I’m “too smart” to pass up. Believing in myself and my craft took me incredibly far!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about EmmaClaire Esthetics?
I uniquely specialize in acne treatment, particularly 100% virtually, though I do have a very successful in-person acne management program. I pride myself in providing care to everyone from all walks of life and achieving clear skin for all acne types. Gone are the days that we rely on medications like Accutane or Spironolactone to clear skin, when long term clearing options are readily available. My results-driven, science-backed facials are both high-performance and incredibly relaxing. The power of touch can calm the nervous system, relieve pain, and move stagnant lymphatic fluid. I have a solution for everyone.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
