Today we’d like to introduce you to Ephraim Elongo.
Hi Ephraim, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It started in 2019 in Pullman, WA at Washington State University. My co-founder Vanessa Higgins, a few friends, and I were hanging out and they had mentioned they wanted more pictures for their social media and at the time we only had our cell phones and an old camera. I grabbed both the camera and cell phone and started taking pictures for them jokingly mimicking what a fashion photographer would do and after that shoot, we posted the pictures and everyone loved the pictures and were asking who was behind the camera. Next thing I know, I am taking senior graduation pictures, and then I moved to Seattle where the clique productions was born. We started out shooting portraits and family pictures and we then transitioned to fashion which opened up more doors for us and unlocked our creativity. We then got published and decided to try a different niche, which was nightlife photography. We were able to get ourselves into all top 5 clubs in the Seattle area and get our name known with DJs from Seattle, Portland, Miami, Denver, San Diego, and LA. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a struggle from our equipment being stolen to loss of clients when our prices went up. To learning how to run a business and still do photography. It has definitely been a learning experience

When I am not doing photography, I am Project Coordinator for Ware Malcomb and architectural firm here in San Diego
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the people, the culture, and the vibes that San Diego has to offer! I have yet to find a dislike as I have only been here a short while

- Studio photography- $375/hr + studio rental fee
- Nightlife- $500 fixed price
