Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Scire.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I have always had a love for photography and the way it can immerse you into a scene. I can remember taking photos growing up, just for fun, I would occasionally get a disposables or would borrow my mom’s digital camera but nothing to serious. Years down the road my wife to be noticed I was always taking photos on my phone of flowers or the scene around me, so she bought me my first “real” camera and I couldn’t put it down! Day and Night I was taking photos, trying new techniques and learning as much as I could. Still today my love hasn’t changed. I’m thankful my passion is also my work photography.
Please tell us about your art.
For me photography is about having fun and finding yourself. The more you create you will find your style and what you like. It’s about creating bodies of work that express you and how you feel. I really enjoy all aspects of photography but my favorites are Landscape and Astro / Night photography. I try to inspire people to look at every things differently, or visit a place after dark and see it under the moonlight and stars. I love the challenge of capturing my perspective through the lens so I can share what I see. I choose to use bright and vivid colors to bring the images to life with a little extra.
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
Stay focused, it can be difficult as an artist. Not only finding work but staying motivated, also value yourself and your work. So many artists don’t realize the amount of time and energy they have put into learning their craft, myself included, remember that time spent learning is never wasted.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
My work can be seen on my website www.EricScire.com along with Instagram @Eric_Scire I up load new content regularly.
