So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was trying to purchase a set of wheels for my 88 Toyota Cressida overseas, Malaysia to be exact. The wheel was Atara Racing. It was posted on one of the forums. I contacted the seller and he replied immediately. I had to ask how much shipping would be. He said it would cost me $400 just to ship it. I told him I’ll get back to him in a week. Next day email me and said don’t worry about payment or the shipping I’ll send the wheels for free just give me your address. I was so surprised and at curious at the same time.
I told him I will pay at least for the wheel.s but he said its all good. I just ask in return was to tell my friends what I think about them. Well not long after I slap them on my car I was attending the local car meets and sure enough I was getting a lot of questions about the wheels, I told Danny Foo that there are few wanting to purchase the wheels right there he asks if I want to be the US representative for ATARA Racing wheels. After that here we are slowly growing four years later.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It was to my surprise, although not having the financial backing to stock wheels was a real challenge. It was my side income. I plan it to be my main income soon. We are working towards that goal. One of the challenges was other wheel fanatic will question the integrity of our wheel and just throw a lot of negative remarks about it. But the greatest come back to all of that negativity was our own customer are the ones replying and saying great things about our wheels, It was their testimony that gave name to our business ELEE Motorsport and also our great customer service.

First of all, our company name is ELEE Motorsport, ELEE is the four-letter with our family initials, Eugene, Lourdes, Emerill and Eyngel. We specialize in automotive wheels catering mostly to classic Japanese cars but now we have expanded to other type and model of vehicles.
Most proud of is our customer service, we have customers that can vouch and back us up fully that we go out of our way for our customers and that what also sets us apart from others.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We plan to expand the products we sell, within the automotive Motorsport industry.
