Hi Felicia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Felicia is the owner and lead designer of Simply Put. Simply Put designs events to create moments of joy to tell your story on your special day. After designing various events for family and friends, three years ago Felicia turned her love for event designing into a business, thus Simply Put!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The bumps that I’ve encountered along the way have been somewhat minor. The largest bump has been directing my creative flow. As a creative, design ideas continuously flow from my mind. With that, designing can pull me in many directions and cause me to want to over design, so I’ve had to focus on particular skill sets and learn to keep it simple.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Simply Put designs events. Rather it’s designing a table setting, baby shower, wedding, birthday, or business, Simply Put creatively brings their client’s special event into a creative reality. Clients are the biggest inspiration, so each event is designed based on their specific needs. The ability to keep it simple and individualize the client’s event is what makes Simply Put unique.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe much in luck, I believe in hard work, blessings, and God’s divine connections!
