Today we’d like to introduce you to Flavio Orozco.

Flavio, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My journey in financial services began over 20 years ago, alongside my wife. Like many people in this industry, I started believing that hard work and good intentions were enough. But over time, real experiences with real families changed my perspective.

I watched people do everything they were told—save consistently, invest through their employer, trust the system—only to be surprised by market losses, uncertainty, or a lack of income when it mattered most. Those moments made the work personal for me.

I realized that financial security isn’t about chasing returns; it’s about understanding risk, protecting what you’ve built, and having a clear plan for the future. That realization reshaped how I approach this business.

Today, my work is centered on education, protection, and long-term strategy—for families and for professionals who want to build something meaningful. Partnering with PHP Agency allowed me to align my career with my values: integrity, service, and leadership.

What continues to motivate me is simple—helping people gain clarity and confidence around their financial decisions, and knowing that the impact of that work extends well beyond numbers on a page.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. The journey has included challenges, setbacks, and periods of uncertainty. Building something meaningful takes time, resilience, and consistency—especially in an industry built on trust.

Those challenges shaped my values, strengthened my leadership, and clarified my purpose. Looking back, they were essential to becoming the advisor and leader I am today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I help individuals and families protect their financial future through life insurance and indexed annuities—strategies designed for stability, protection, and long-term retirement income. My approach is simple: education first, clarity always.

I also mentor and develop new agents, helping them build ethical, sustainable careers in financial services. What sets our brand apart is the balance between protection and opportunity—serving families while developing leaders. I’m most proud of the culture we’ve built: high integrity, strong mentorship, and real impact.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
The key is being intentional and authentic. Look for people you respect, reach out genuinely, and show a willingness to learn. Networking works the same way—focus on quality connections, listen more than you speak, and look for ways to add value. Over time, those relationships become mentorships and opportunities you never expected.
