Today we’d like to introduce you to Francine Pozuelos.
Hi Francine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my small business in 2020 during the heart of the pandemic. I was laid off from my previous job, I have always dream of owning my small business. One day while I was on social media, I seen a pair of earrings and thought to myself, “I would love to recreate those with my own unique touch”. I invested in supplies, clay, research a theme for a website and that’s when Divine Earth Clay was established in September of that year.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of challenges along the way have been imposter syndrome, balancing motherhood, finding my niche. To be honest, after two years of being in business, I feel like I just recently found my niche.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a creative artist known for my beautiful one-of-a-kind polymer clay earrings and accessories. My designs are inspired from living in the desert with a touch of mi cultura. Every piece if design has a special meaning to it. It’s not just art, it’s part of who I am. I take most pride in the time I take to perfect details and to showcase the beauty of the desert and my Mexican and Central American heritage.
