Meet Gina Benedetto of All Souls Reiki

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Benedetto.

Hi Gina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My passion for Reiki began in the early 2000s. I’m blessed to have had my Uncle Henry and Aunt Mary, Reiki Masters who generously shared everything they know about this beautiful healing practice.

I was immediately captivated by Reiki’s gentle, yet no-less powerful, ability to heal our complete selves—the etheric blueprint of the body, the physical body and the soul. As a certified Reiki practitioner, it’s my soul’s calling to channel this life-sustaining energy to all other souls.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a fairly smooth road—though it has been a long one. I first learned Reiki techniques over two decades ago, and only in the last few years have I fully stepped onto this path. I believe in divine timing; and know that I am exactly where I am meant to be. A younger version of myself didn’t have the experience and spiritual maturity that I do now. And I find these qualities to be immensely helpful when sharing energy work with others.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Life force energy is all around us—in your mind, your body, and in all other life surrounding you. It is this vital energy that fuels our vitality and health. When the flow of this life force becomes impeded, it can lead to physical, mental, and spiritual problems. Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that focuses on channeling universal life force energy (“ki” or “chi”) to promote healing on all levels.

I was called to name my business All Souls Reiki because one day someone asked me who I offer Reiki to. Without a pause I answered “to all souls—human or animal.”

It is this additional focus on animals that sets my business apart. My focus on offering Reiki to animals is in thanks to our rescue pup, Sadie. She tore her leg ACL and went into acute kidney failure—all in the same year. Instinctively, I started offering her frequent Reiki to help her body and mind heal from these traumatic experiences.

Each day that Sadie grew stronger—supported and guided by Reiki—I found myself daydreaming about how wonderful it would be to assist other animals in this way. I’ve been an animal lover since birth and am eternally grateful to Sadie for showing me how I could help as many animals as possible experience greater peace and vitality. It is my honor to bring the gift of healing to all furry, scaly, feathered friends I meet.

What makes you happy?
My family (human & animal.) Their love and support in all areas of my life is what brings me the most joy. Sharing my life which such amazing souls is something I give thanks for every day. The soul bonds we share are a connection that can never be lost—even when we depart this physical life.
