Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Hernandez.
So, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
After graduating from Southwestern College I moved to Northridge, CA to continue my education and attend CSUN. While attending college, I applied for a part-time Real Estate Assistant job at Keller Williams. I was doing everything at this job, from being an assistant to marketing and graphic design to working with all of the paperwork involved in a transaction. You can say at this point Real Estate stole my heart. I fell in love with doing all of the paperwork and being involved with the transaction as well as helping agents and their clients.
In 2013 I received my Real Estate License and Certified Transaction Coordinator Certification. I graduated from CSUN with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. Since Real Estate played such a huge role in my life I decided to pursue this career. Along the road, I worked for different brokerages and in 2015 I decided to become Independent. That same year I also became a Notary Public and my company, Gina The TC was born. Over the past 7 years, I’ve established myself as an Independent Transaction Coordinator. I’ve been part of over 4,000 transactions and help Real Estate agents all over California with their Real Estate Transactions.
Has it been a smooth road?
There’s always struggles when you have your own business but nothing that I was not able to overcome! Obstacles such as day to day factors that come into the transaction. All transactions are different so you never know what you will be dealing with that day, week or month. I love to put out fires (metaphorically speaking) so I always welcome a challenge!
We’d love to hear more about your work.
Gina The TC is my pride and joy! I’m an independent Transaction Coordinator servicing all of California.
What is a TC? Well, I facilitate all of the paperwork for agents and brokers, so they have more time to scale their business. Not only am I a huge asset for agents, but I am also a bonus for the escrow team and loan officers. My business helps service everyone involved in a transaction. I help all parties involved and make sure that everything is up to par and I exceed at customer service, communication, and organization. What sets me apart from others besides my amazing service is the dedication and passion I have for my business. You can tell that I love what I do and I’m good at it!
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love everything about my city. I was born and raised in San Diego and visit it often. Now that I live in Los Angeles, I consider my self a part of both SD and LA. I absolutely love both cities. Each one is so unique and beautiful!
Since I am virtual the beauty of it is I can work from anywhere and still provide exceptional service!
