I am a mixed media artist based in Coronado, CA. I am a visual storyteller known for my captivating hand-cut collage pieces, exquisite nature-inspired jewelry, and one-of-a-kind fashions. I have shown my unique objects de’ art at a multitude of galleries and museums throughout California, which include the San Diego Museum of Art, the Natural History Museum, the Museum of the Living Artist, and the US Grant Hotel, to name just a few.
With a focus on expressing both conscious and unconscious thoughts through my art, I combine various elements to create pieces rich in emotion and symbolism. My work invites viewers to interpret and feel their way through the intricate narratives I weave, drawing inspiration from nature and personal significance. Beyond my hangable artwork, I also offer a unique fashion line of wearable art tailored to accentuate individuality and style. Because I have a passion for music, my designs have graced the stages of renowned musical artists, including Will I Am, Jack Johnson, G Love, Peaches, and more.
I have also created an exquisite collection of jewelry inspired by my various California trips. Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Navigating the intricacies of the art world presents a multitude of challenges for many individuals, including me. Maneuvering the delicate balance between creative fulfillment and financial stability, I have encountered obstacles in my quest to pursue my passion while also sustaining a livelihood.
The relentless quest for recognition and success in the ever-changing art industry can be arduous and disheartening. Confronted with internal self-doubt and the time and energy needed to dedicate to my craft, my story serves as a testament to the resilience and determination required to succeed in the competitive realm of artistic creation.

During the Covid-19 crisis, I found myself facing new challenges that led to insightful lessons. I learned the importance of adapting to change quickly and creatively. By embracing online platforms and virtual connections, I expanded my reach and found innovative ways to showcase my artwork. The crisis also highlighted the significance of resilience and the power of community support.
I discovered that by staying resilient and fostering relationships with fellow artists and patrons, I could navigate uncertainty with more confidence.
