So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We always loved camping but couldn’t get our friends out to enjoy the experiences. The number one reason was not having the proper gear for a comfortable trip. The number two reason was fear up setting up camp. And three was the amount of prep it takes to pull off a great camping trip. So comfy Camps was born. Our company addresses the three main pain points of camping and takes care of them all
Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been a struggle from the beginning. But anything worth doing is hard. Our biggest struggle is getting the word out a company like this even exists.
Tell us more about your work.
We deliver and set up fully equipped campsites anywhere in San Diego and the surrounding areas. We provide everything needed for a comfortable camping experience. Tents, chairs, sleeping systems, kitchens, etc. No need for gear. No need for planning prepping and setting up after a long drive. We take care of everything. All they need to bring is their favorite camping foods. We don’t think there is any other company that does what we do. There are some rental places. But we are full service. Deliver set up and clean up.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
We hope to totally expand the camping industry in ten years. We are making camping more accessible to more people. Anybody can take a camping trip now just as easy as booking a hotel room. And our newest project intends to help the yoga/ wellness industry. We are now setting up fully equipped base camps for retreats. Allowing yoga instructors without studios to plan and execute profitable retreat with little to no cost to them. Bypassing the old system of booking a high priced resort months in advance then hoping to fill it to get your money back.
