Today, we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Lebron.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My parents did my hair while I was growing up, and I’ve always been close to the industry. I cycled through a few possible careers and ended up finding an esthetics class. I was so excited about the makeup section of the class but quickly found a love for the skin.
Once I graduated, I jumped right in and rented a room from a salon owner that my mom knew; she gave me a great deal! I ended up getting into a relationship with my now husband, and because he was in the military, we ended up moving out of Hawai’i. I closed up the Hawai’i business and moved it to Connecticut, Guam, and now San Diego. Starting over multiple times was rough, but I was so blessed to have grown so much each time.
Once I started the business here in San Diego, I decided to keep growing and just hoping we wouldn’t have to move again, haha. Luckily, we didn’t, and BBHL has now grown into a business that employs and builds up other women and services so many wonder people in our community. I love watching my team grow in their careers and lives, and it’s so rewarding to watch how happy they make their guests.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. Learning to transition from working for myself to being responsible for multiple employees has been a rollercoaster (one I don’t regret at all, though). I love our team, and it makes me want to learn more and be a better leader.

Our team is committed to ongoing education, providing innovative treatments that are not only relaxing but highly effective, keeping a safe and professional environment, and creating lifelong relationships with our guests.
BBHL is where results and relaxation meet. We create experiences. We want every guest to leave our clinic feeling refreshed and confident.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those just starting.
A few things I tell new Estheticians are:
Create your business the way you’d like it to look in the future. For example, if you don’t want to work weekends, don’t open weekend spots when you first start. Have policies to protect your business and every client sign them.
If you only want to offer one type of service, only offer that and make sure you’re the best at it. Make sure to balance your personal and business life. Watch & take advice from people who are in the position you’d like to be in.
