Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Sehn
Hi Hannah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was going to school in Utah, while struggling with acne. It was a constant battle, which lead me to the decision to go to esthetics school to help my own skin. This was the biggest blessing in disguise. After completing my esthetics schooling in Utah I worked at multiple medical spas and learned a lot from other people. I moved to San Diego almost 2 years ago and started doing esthetics here, and now just recently opened my own facial studio. My passion is to help others feel confident and to allow you to take care of yourself. From my personal experience I know how much better I perform when I feel confident and fill my own glass- I want to help others with this. As You Are is a place to unwind, relax, and still get great results and healthy skin.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been pretty smooth but everyone has challenges. Our main struggle was learning business, and how to get everything set up. We used our resources and spent long nights researching different components of the business. We also just relocated which also was a learning curve, but you have to do what’s best for you!

As You Are Facial Studio is located in the beautiful La Jolla Cove. Hannah, owner and esthetician that struggled with acne for what felt like forever. Throughout her education she was able to manage her acne and now has a passion for helping others feel confident in their skin. As You Are Facial Studio specialized in luxurious, results driven treatments.

What sets us apart is the specialization in a luxury or deluxe treatment. This mean you are getting real results but also being pampered. From the bed heater, to the products, to the location. Hannah also completed her schooling in Utah as a Master Esthetician- this is not a recognized certificate in California, but she has 600 extra hours of schooling, and experience with lasers, microneedling, deep peels.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
San Diego is the coolest place I’ve ever lived. We are blessed with the ocean right by us, but also so many activities. Whether that be a padres game, dinner in little Italy, hiking Torrey pines- we have it all. I do think here in San Diego people prioritize their well being and health, and that just reflects throughout the community and all the awesome people you meet.
I love San Diego and don’t have a least- just traffic sometimes! Lol
