Holistic Health Clinic Operator Howard Flamm, had an idea in mind in 2017 when he expanded from a successful Wellness Center operation in Denver, CO to opening Ravive Health & Vitality in Point Loma. He began his practice in Denver in 2010, after seeing firsthand, family members battle serious health issues like chronic pain, diabetes, obesity, and cancer. Oftentimes, the recommendations from physicians were for pharmaceuticals and surgeries. Both of which have had limiting results. His clinic offers Naturopathic Treatments like Medical Weight Loss, Vitamin & Mineral Injection Therapy, as well as CBD massage and Acupuncture.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A mentor of mine once told me that a new clinic in Holistic Health Services takes about three years to fully be able to thrive. We’ve logged about half that time so far. And, wouldn’t have traded the experience for anything. Ravive now has over 2,000 satisfied patients. who are happier & healthier, with a better gauge on prevention.

Ravive offers one-on-one nutritional coaching, acupuncture, therapeutic massages, vitamin B-12 injections and i-lipo laser body contouring. The Ideal Protein Weight Loss Program is something that Flamm has specialized in for nine years. In that time, his patients have lost a sun total of about 20,000 pounds. And, have had great success in keeping it off.
According to Flamm, the B-12 shot, a pharmaceutical treatment also referred to as a “happy shot,” has been particularly successful in San Diego. The B-12 shot enhances brain focus, energy and immunity. They have several other vitamin & mineral injections on their service menu as well.
This last year, saw the addition of IV infusion therapy, local cryotherapy, and an oxygen bar. The cryo is more for people with localized pain. The IV is for people who need to rehydrate for an overall boost, and the oxygen bar is great for headaches or migraines because you’re getting purer oxygen, which helps your brain function.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
