Today we’d like to introduce you to Indian K.
Hi Indian, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve been an emcee since I was about 13 years old but it wasn’t till 2011 that I started taking it serious. In 2019, I started “Go Win” Brand which was created to motivate people. I wanted to start a Brand that could encourage people to be their best selves. I was raised in group homes and that eventually led to being homeless and eventually prison. So I wanted to inspire. The music journey allowed me to build a fan base which I have been able to transition into my clothing brand well also being my Motto for life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road but worth it. Nothing that comes easy is good feel me? The biggest thing was actually getting people to pay attention and then supporting the movement. Go Win is a movement before anything else. Along with finding the right people to work with when creating the clothing coz, I want people to have Quality products. There is a lot of footwork put into getting the name out there and that’s where I’m at now. Just getting the word out.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an emcee. I would be considered a Storyteller who paints his life. I have released 4 solo projects and 1 collab project. Most proud would be when I released Duality which was a very deep open project for me. What sets me apart is the Authenticity in my music. I only tell my story and I don’t make stuff up or lie in my lyrics.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
There is no luck involved. I worked hard for everything I have. It’s a lot of Hardwork and vulnerability that went into getting where I am now.
