So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
During my junior year in college, I was attending the University of San Diego. At the time I was not passionate about my major or school for that matter. My goal during my college career was to develop a skill set I could leverage and turn into a career. I was exploring different outlets when I was gifted a GoPro camera for Christmas. I quickly began documenting all the activities I enjoyed such as surfing, basketball, skating, traveling, and other lifestyle activities. This eventually led to editing photos, graphic design, and video editing.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
There’s no smooth road to success. You are constantly challenged and forced to adapt when it comes to marketing, graphic design, photography, and producing high-quality videos. Starting a small business and developing a digital artist’s skill set through self-development has been two of my biggest challenges. However, since I have a strong passion for marketing and content creation, improving my skillset is something I look forward to every day!
