Meet Jacqui Morris of San Diego Beaches

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqui Morris

Hi Jacqui, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Jacqui and I create worksheets and guided meditations that I sell online through my Instagram. Centering myself ~mind, body, and soul~ has always been a top priority for me. I began teaching yoga at 17years old and got my Yoga Alliance certification in Key West, FL. I taught for about 5 years, but had to simultaneously work other jobs as well to support myself. I’ve served, bartended, and worked as a Client Service Rep for an Emergency Animal Hospital right outside of Philadelphia, Pa where I am from. I worked all of these jobs to support what I actually loved to do: things like rock climbing, hiking, traveling, and road-tripping. From living on a sailboat in Daytona out of high school, to sun bathing in Wildwood, riding horses in Estes Park, and backpacking Yosemite, my one constant has been my meditation practice and commitment to centering my mind on what I need to do to have fun in this life. Recently, I decided to cross the country in my Jeep with my dog, Oreo. That time traveling inspired me to be creative with my pictures and videos to document the experience. I realized that if I could somehow turn this into a career, I could do way more than I ever imagined. So, I put out a digital mindset worksheet bundle and started an online business. Despite my small following, I’ve been lucky to have success with it. I am excited to see where this takes me and what else I can dream up in the process.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Getting over the feelings of insecurity for not having the time, money, or mental bandwidth to go to college was extremely hard on my mental health. I took the road less traveled by, and that has always been my brand, but it’s not always quite as carefree as it may appear. I choose to make the best of every situation, and I’ve been lucky to find joy and love through that.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets me apart is that I’ve used my creative vision to guide me and fully trusted that there is always a way to honor where my heart wants to go, even if no one else can see it. I decided to try creating these worksheets and meditations to share my perspective and offer small moments of excitement, balance, and peace to others. It’s those small moments in the midst of chaos where clarity becomes the compass. If you can learn how to cultivate safety and peace inside yourself, you’ll always be okay. That’s what my life has taught me, and that’s what I want to share with others.
