Meet Jarrad Horne of MavicCBR in La Jolla

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jarrad Horne.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jarrad. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Got inspired by other drone photography operators and decided to purchase a Mavic Pro myself and begin taking images of the beautiful places around the globe. I started taking photos and received positive feedback, more than I imagined, therefore decided to create my company ‘MavicCBR’ to share the images with the wider public. I currently have an online profile with social media and a website.

Why did I start MavicCBR: The purpose of my website is to provide others with a glimpse into where I live and places I travel, share what I am learning in this field and to inspire other people to get out and about and share their story.

Whats next: Continue exploring the world, sharing my story and adventures plus meeting new people along the way.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
MavicCBR is only an in its beginnings and hasn’t had too many challenges so far. Once I obtain the correct licenses/documentation/legal requirements, the only real challenge is Mother Nature and working with what she displays on any given day.

Please tell us about MavicCBR.
If you see a drone in the air, a 5’10” redhead wondering aimlessly below with a coffee not too far away, then you have found MavicCBR, aka Jarrad. You can find me exploring what this world has to offer and learning as I go.

The purpose of my website is to provide others with a glimpse into where I live and places I travel, share what I am learning in this field and to inspire other people to get out and about and share their story.

I currently specialize in landscape and urban photography, however, am growing the video side of aerial photography.

To date, I am most happy with the feedback I have received, what I have learned and the people I have met who inspire me along the way to continue doing what I do.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I had to start over, I wouldn’t change anything I have done so far, however, I am sure as MavicCBR grows I will experience Lessons Learnt.
