Jeremy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Ever since I was a kid, I was fond of anything art and media. Before YouTube became a thing, I would film home videos with my family’s digital cameras, webcams, or anything that can record something. Eventually, I stumbled upon the internet and found YouTube. My love for it sprouted around 2013 when I first created my YouTube channel and was able to collectively amassed over 135k+ on my social media platforms. With this, I was able to work with companies/brands that I have admired, such as ADOBE, Squarespace, Skillshare, Pacsun, Armani Exchange, and many more.
I’ve been driven by my intellectual curiosity throughout my career to find the “next thing” just seconds after fulfilling a goal. It’s almost as if I can’t stop. However, I treat this as a personal trait that I will forever treasure. My grit for media has helped launch my career as a Social Media Influencer and as a business owner for a Specialized Marketing Agency offering Web Design, Branding/Logo Design, and Social Media Management. I value and enjoy partnering with small business owners and entrepreneurs in bringing life to their overall online presence and increasing their credibility without breaking the bank.
Has it been a smooth road?
It wasn’t always easy being a Social Media Influencer and Business Owner. There are days where you’re completely blanked out of ideas, days where you lack motivation and days where you question your trajectory in life.
However, I knew deep inside that this is what I wanted to do. I never wanted to work for someone else; I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. In fact, in a 6th-grade project, we were told to draw our future selves and I decided to draw me as a business owner with a briefcase! Looking back at it now, I never would’ve thought that it would come true, yet here we are!

For my Influencer career, Jeremy Clyde (imjeremyclyde), I focus on men’s fashion, lifestyle, and advice with occasional covers/original songs here and there. I really post whatever I feel like but essentially focused on the ones I mentioned. In YouTube and Instagram, I’m definitely more known as a Fashion Influencer who loves to thrift! My most viewed video is a Thrift Haul.
As an Influencer, I was able to work with brands I absolutely adore, such as PACSUN, ADOBE, SQUARESPACE, JCPENNEY, and many more! It’s truly a blessing and something that I wouldn’t have attained if it wasn’t for my lovely audience. As for my Ario Media Marketing Agency, I specialize in providing small business owners and entrepreneurs responsive and minimal web design that converts. A few add-ons include Social Media Management, Branding/Logo Design, and Website Copywriting. My proudest moments being a business owner for my agency is seeing positive results for the clients I work with! It’s always great to hear when they share milestones with you because of the services you provided for them.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’ve only been in San Diego for less than two years but I absolutely love it! I was originally from the Philippines and moved to America (San Bernardino, then Fresno). I love the diversity, the people, the local businesses, and the overall ambiance of the city. I don’t think I have any flaws to describe the city. I always look for the good in them.
