Jeressa, thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
Honestly, I’m just your typical girl. One who enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. I’ve just entered my 30s and am all about not taking life for granted. My biggest motto that I live by in life is that “everything happens for a reason.”
Let’s talk about your work and career – what else should we know?
I’ve been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for almost 5 years. People usually think of dental hygienists as just cleaning gunk out of people’s teeth, but I ultimately do more than that. I believe that I’m making an impact on individual’s lives by creating positive experiences and changing people’s perspective on going to the dentist. I have patient’s who hate their smile or are scared to step foot in a dental setting. But I’m able to individualize every patient experience and create a rapport that continually builds with each visit. I believe this profession is truly rewarding and can change a patient’s entire notion of what dentistry is through knowledge, empathy, and understanding.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Neslene J Sahagun and Neskin Beauty and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Neskin Beauty.
I’ve always been a different girly-girl. I’m not one who likes to get all dolled up, nor do I even know how to apply make-up. I’ve always wanted to get my lashes done but never committed. I was hesitant of numerous things about getting my lashes done; my sensitive skin and if I would have an allergic reaction, the entire process, the maintenance I would have to upkeep, etc. But I wanted to do something for myself that would ultimately boost my confident. So one birthday, I decided to finally go for it after being so indecisive for years. I’ve seen Neslene’s work through social media and knew she was the one I wanted to book with. During my first visit, upon entering her treatment room, I loved the atmosphere and calming environment. Her room is presented in a way that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. As for Neslene’s work ethic, she’s the only person I would trust to do my lashes. She really takes pride in her work and the outcome always comes out flawless. She always does a great job applying my lashes in a way that’s not uncomfortable or painful. My lashes come out feeling natural and I often forget I have them on. I’m always getting compliments on my lashes and am constantly recommending her. I’m so in love with the work Neslene does every time and cannot praise her enough!
