Today we’d like to introduce you to Joey Da’Mauro.
Joey, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am from Jacksonville FL, just recently moved to San Diego, I start doing standup Comdey eight years ago, my friends thought I was funny. And the fact that all my jokes where like a story. So I went they begged me to do an open mic. So I tried it and fell in love with it. Years later, I star in a play called the sanctified theft, which was the first time I’ve ever had to “Act” serious. Then a year after that The director asked me to co-direct the feature film of the sanctify Theft. And that what you lace the bug to start doing films as well as comedy and I open up my business BLESSED PRODUCTION LLC.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Heck no hahah, the first year of comedy was horrible I couldn’t get my crowds to relate and I almost gave up. Then I started to try to pay attention to where I’m at and the crowd I’m talking to and it’s been on the up and up.
Blessed Productions – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Blessed production LLC is a Company that covers all forms of entertainment and production from host to stand-up comedians to creative directors to writers and even film crew we film weddings birthday parties anything you may need to be filmed and can be edited on-site.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment was when my grandmother called me crying and excited because she saw me on TV for something positive the area I lived in not a lot of people make it out to do something positive. She was excited and proud that her grandchild was on television.
