So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We launched Ignite Visibility back in 2013. Before Ignite Visibility, I had been a Director at two companies and a marketing manager. My business partner and I knew we would be successful because we had worked together before, knew what it took to get clients results and were 100% dedicated to over-delivering for the client.
We started the company out of our houses. We got very big results for our early clients. That resulted in them referring us more clients. We added many more clients each year and eventually invested in digital marketing for ourselves.
We are now one of the fastest growing companies in San Diego and number 698 on the Inc. 5000. We have also been named the number 1 SEO company in the nation by Clutch.co and number one PPC company by 10BestPPCs. Our company offers full digital marketing services, including SEO, PPC, social media, email, Amazon marketing and conversion rate optimization.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The first two years starting a business is a lot of work. Setting up meetings each day, doing a lot of outreach, learning to set up processes, admin needs, HR needs, accounting and more. So no, it has not always been smooth at all! But, I absolutely love what I do. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
We have moved offices multiple times and are now moving again. It is a blessing because it is due to growth, but there is significant coordinating.
Please tell us about Ignite Visibility.
At this time, we have about 150 clients and 45 employees, but we are growing each month. We have the pleasure of working with mid to large businesses to handle their search engine optimization, paid media, conversion rate optimization, email, social media and Amazon marketing.
People come to us usually for SEO, social media and paid media. But we usually end up offering full services to them. We have a unique program that ensures results. We determine who your customers are, where they are online and craft strategies to targeting them through the latest methods. We create an online business model for you before you sign up. This lets clients know what their returns will look like.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Surfing with my dad, brother, and some buddies down in Mexico outside of Encinada. That was a fun trip. The break we were surfing that day is now off limits, but it used to be amazing.
