Meet Juliana Caesar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliana Caesar.

Hi Juliana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi, I’m Juliana Caesar and I came to San Diego when I was 18 to study and play volleyball for San Diego State University. I had a volleyball scholarship and on my first year, I got WAC freshman of the year. My last year I was all-American and broke school records. After I graduated in Drama, I went to live in Los Angeles signing an Asics contract for volleyball endorsements that’s how my modeling and acting career started. I would always come back to San Diego to find my inner strength. I love SD and it’s one of my favorites cities in the world. I feel so blessed to be here and I enjoy every minute of it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a difficult road but every sweat and hard work were worth it. I had language struggle and I missed Brazil and my family, but San Diego is a beautiful place with such great energy and warm that I felt blessed to be here.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a stage actress that have done more than 20 plays, but I now want to focus my career on tv and film. My last work is for the series Accident, Suicide and Murder who I played Lena Clarkson killed by the producer Phil Spector and I also did a music video for Yung Gravy and a Ferla Bike commercial. Right now, I want to focus on becoming a make-up artist which I think will go well with my career as an actress in the entertainment business.

What does success mean to you?
Success is when you never give up and believe in your potential no matter what people think of you. Your confidence and willpower will find a way for you to break through. Believe in yourself and the universe will bring you what you deserve it at the right time. Learn new things and improve your craft is important to reach your goals.
