Today we’d like to introduce you to Kate Keesee.
Kate, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started sharing DIY and design projects as a first generation blogger in 2009. I have a deep passion for inspiring women to design a beautiful home on a very limited income. In 2015 I joined Instagram and shared my love on this new social media platform. After a year I was offered a hardware partnership with Home Depot and a few other retailers. I know share my design and style as a brand influencer.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Sharing design on a limited income seems almost impossible to a client at first. I believe thrifting was a lost art and now it’s on the fore front once again as many love the thrill of the hunt finding unique vintage pieces.
Salvage Dior – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I specialize in unique curated designs mostly purchasing from thrift stores and flea markets. I love seeing the happiness when I client realizes we completed a project that shares who they are.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being featured by Fifi O Neil and OC Home Magazine is by far a dream come true.
