Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathy Marrott.
Kathy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have been a Professional Makeup artist for over 25 years. My psychic abilities started as a child. I was raised in Mapleton, Utah, A very conservative and religious state. I was taught, My gifts were wrong/sinful. So, I pushed them down. Numbed myself from my gifts until I was nearly 40 years old. When I was on my 2nd failed marriage. I began to feel my gifts bubble up inside of me, so badly wanting to be heard!
Intuition is so important to trust. My entire life, I had pushed my gut feelings, my knowings and even visions away! Throughout the years of being a full-time professional makeup artist. I would be putting on someone’s makeup and start seeing and feeling things that were oftentimes terrible. Some visions I had were good, but many were dark. I would feel crazy when I went home. It took me a few hours of releasing to get back to me. Finally, I found a coach who helped me understand, I am an Empath. I was actually taking on others’ emotions and healing them energetically!
As I found out more about this. The more I realized how real it actually is! I began growing tired of doing makeup and being on set for long hours each day. I was looking for a big change. I moved from Utah to California in July of 2012. This was the mark of a new chapter for me. More than I realized. I left my second partner. Two more kids was on my own entirely with two young kids. I was in such a dark place. I didn’t want to be alive. I had no choice beyond death. So, I found an energy healer and started my own healing work within. I learned how to meditate. I learned how to be at peace within. My days turned from hell to pure bliss and heaven. I was talking to a dear friend one day, helping her out. When she told me, Kathy, please help others. This will be your new career/business. So, I made the decision and jumped right in!
I began doing readings at first before the healing part came in full swing. Now, 2020 I help others professionally reprogram their subconscious mind. Helping people heal at a cellular level, literally changing people’s lives from darkness to light in every single aspect. I love what I do. I also help people find clarity with issues. My spiritual gifts include. Being able to feel others’ emotions. Seeing others intentions. I can see future/past and now. I see visions of things that have happened or will happen. I help others understand why they are creating negativity and how to change that. Those are just a few of my highest prize gifts. I am proud of what I do.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My struggles have not been with a career. More with significant relationships along the way. My makeup career happened out of the blue. I love makeup/hair and clothing. I was literally in the right place and at the right time. The right people. I was thrown into my makeup/hair/wardrobe career. My Psychic empath healer career was chosen. I was born with the gifts as many are without knowing.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Proudest moments when clients love the way, they look! As a makeup/hair/wardrobe stylist. Changing from dowdy to lively and healthy look WOW it really makes you feel great!
Psychic healer moments. I cannot describe the incredible feeling of, helping someone see a new prospective. Gaining clarity on serious issues, they know they cant trust. Helping heal others’ lives. My heart is filled with gratitude.
