We specialize in women circles and empowering women to connect to their inner goddess. I have experienced first hand the power of women gathering together to hold space, listen, support, and love each other. I celebrate being able to create a space for women and others to feel heard, seen, and loved. In a digital world that spends a lot of time connecting virtually, it is such a precious and sacred time to be able to connect with others and leave feeling more love for ourselves and those around us.Today we’d like to introduce you to Keilani Francisco.
Keilani, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Ever since I was young I always knew I wanted to help people. I wanted to inspire people to think differently, to believe in themselves, to follow their passions, and to strive to be the best person they could be.
Growing up my father was the one to instill in me my entrepreneurial mindset. Whenever we drove by a vacant building he would ask me and my brother what kind of business we would open in the vacant space.
Throughout life, I struggled with the concept of having to fit myself into one category. The idea of having to choose a career path to spend the rest of my days doing ONE thing sounded terrifying. I dreaded the idea of a routine because I believe when we are given the freedom to follow our intuition that will lead us to magic, to where we are meant to be.
As a young adult, I discovered meditation, quantum physics, the law of attraction, yoga, and holistic health… throughout high school, curriculum was not my strong suit but these topics sparked my interest and I spent my free time studying these topics until I started to shift my mindset from a feeling of discouragement, the idea of having to fit myself into one box, to utilizing these multifaceted passions of mine to create a life my young self dreamt of.
Fast forward ten years later and I am a certified Reiki Practitioner + Meditation teacher, I am a part time early childhood educator, I do social media marketing, events, and creative directing for local woman-owned and run businesses. I have taken my passion for community, and connection and launched a passion project- Goddess Gang, with my soul sister Justice Klein. Through this business, we host events, retreats, and workshops that focus on empowering and raising the divine feminine through connection, meditation, movement, and more.
I believe in a world that is very action-driven and goal-oriented it is refreshing to follow our intuition and explore our passions because I truly believe everyone has a purpose here on Earth and something they can contribute to society if we just dig a little deeper, have some fun during the process, believe in ourselves and follow our passions no matter how big or small they may seem.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I like to think life is messy, then it’s beautiful, then it’s ordinary and with that being said no it has not been a smooth road and I don’t think it ever continuously will be smooth. I have lost loved ones due to mental illness. I have struggled with the feeling of not being enough especially as a young, creative, entrepreneur.
I question myself and think maybe life would be “easier” if I just chose the “normal” route like my friends from high school but THEN I host a women’s circle full of strangers that hold space for each other and laugh and cry and support each other fully. I lead a group through a mediation or reiki session and feel the shift in energy instantly lighten and hear people say how relaxed they are and how much they needed that and it’s in those moments that I feel fulfilled. In those moments I feel successful.
My advice for other young people is follow your passions and screw what anyone else says or thinks! Take that dance class, pick up that instrument, go on that retreat in Costa Rica, paint, create, attend that workshop by yourself, take that course at your local community college. Do what makes you feel good and the rest will follow.
“Tell me what you’re afraid of and I’ll tell you what you should do. Tell me what breaks your heart and I’ll tell you who you should be serving.” As a child I was extremely timid. Any extra curricular activity my mom tried to put me in, I held onto her leg and wouldn’t let go. I’d say I definitely carried this trait with me throughout my years. My first day of college I walked out of my oral communications class half way through. Oh the irony from someone who wrote in their diary that one day they wanted to be a motivational speaker. It’s funny how our biggest fears can turn out to be our most wildest endeavors.
It’s easy to live in fear and worry but imagine what could be on the other side of that fear. Use that fear and worry as motivation to do it anyway. Prove yourself wrong and I promise that little voice in your head that tells you that you’re not enough will become less and less each time you push yourself past the point of comfort.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
In addition to my many side hustles- my most recent project is being 1/2 of the founders of Goddess Gang; a space that focuses on community, connection, and creation through workshops, retreats, and gatherings where we incorporate meditation, movement, cacao ceremonies, chakra healing, reiki + more.

I believe what will always set any business apart is your authenticity. I think when we show up fully we allow others to feel safe to do the same and that’s when the space opens up for genuine connections to be made.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Throughout this journey, I have come to find that the ability to pivot and adapt is a huge factor in being successful. Sometimes we are so stuck on how we want to get where we are going that it blocks us from any other experiences or opportunities. In an ever-changing world, it is important to be open to ideas and to be able to shift your perspective and continue to move forward with faith in yourself and your purpose.
