Thanks for sharing your story with us Kelly. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always enjoyed decorating for parties. Creating a theme and making it come to life. I love looking on Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration and I came across quite a few photos of really beautiful balloon installations. They were on houses, buildings, food trucks, and included flowers and different textures. I was obsessed. I immediately starting writing down ideas for a business plan.
Has it been a smooth road?
Of course not. Trial and error. But everyone has been so supportive. I have learned from my mistakes and fix them for the next project. I am sure there will still be some bumps in the the road, but it makes you a better business owner.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
I love bringing joy through the art of balloons. Coming from a creative & artistic background, balloon designs allow me to channel that creativity to design something amazing. My goal is to make a fun balloon installation from an artistic point of view that you and your guests will remember for years. I create balloon installations for any type of event, from birthday parties, to store openings, to company galas. What I am most proud of as a company is that every install that I do I put my heart into it, hence my company name.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Absolutely! Honestly anywhere is a good place! Think about a plain building just sitting there on a corner. Now add a colorful balloon garland that goes from the door all the way up to the roof, with balloons of all sizes. Balloons just add so much character and how can you not smile when looking at them. There’s just so much opportunity in all the diverse areas of San Diego.
