Hi Kiefer, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello My name is Kiefer Strong, Event Coordinator, Writer, Musician and Music Producer.
Co Founder of Eden Entertainment and, the Socal Rock and roll, Punk band. Children Of Eden.
Here’s the story….
My brother Mike and I started playing music when we’re in high school at ages 14 and 16. Around that time, there was a lot of pay-to-play venues, and when you’re just starting out no one wants to buy your tickets. So, we decided to start booking our own shows. I started calling up local venues, bars, and coffee shops. Anyone who was willing to let us play live in their establishment. We even played at a Best Buy in La Habra, California, when they had a music section. From there on, we went up and down in the roller coaster of music life, but we never gave up. In April of 2006, we formed our most successful band to date. Children Of Eden. From Children Of Eden, I developed Eden Entertainment. A booking and promotion company for local bands and artist of all kinds. My brother and I are very DIY anything in music; we’ve tried to do it ourselves, be it
Booking, Recording, Producing, Live Performances, and more.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not being brothers, my brother and I have had our ups and downs. Agreed and disagreed, even agreed to disagree. But we never strayed from the vision of our goal, to successfully make a living off our music and in the business of music. My brother and I have known lots of friends that have played music and eventually stopped. But we can never stop; it’s who we are and what we do. No matter how many times my brother Mike and I will argue, music will always bring us together. United. Devoted, We Know Where We’re Going. The road is never smooth, but as long as you face it head-on with faith and determination. Eventually, the obstacles become half the fun.

Eden Entertainment is a Booking and Promotion company that specializes in coordinating events and bringing people together in a fun and peaceful environment. We also specialize in writing and producing music and Custom and unique hand-drawn flyers.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
We love the vibe the city of San Diego Brings, particularly the Bancroft Bar, in Spring Valley. We’ve hosted a few shows there, and that little bar is a fun place to be. Great sound, good beer, and the staff is amazing. On the other hand, we can’t really say anything bad about the city other than being from Anaheim/Fullerton area the drive down in traffic is the only bad part for us.
