Hi Kilfeather, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Kilfeather’s unique sound and energetic live performances have earned this three-piece powerhouse from San Diego, CA infamous recognition in the independent music scene.
Operating out of Southern California with K. Kilfeather at the helm on guitars and vocals, Carlos Lopez on drums, and Cal Martinez on bass, Kilfeather creates a blend of energetic, thought-provoking, and uniquely branded music. Together their influences create an unforgettable and highly entertaining freakout rock experience.
Kilfeather’s music is a fusion of various genres such as rock, punk, metal, and psychedelic, making it challenging for some to box them into any specific sound other than their own.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a DIY rock and roll band comes with its challenges but also comes with many freedoms. While we have the artistic freedom to be able to express ourselves and to do whatever we like for the most part, It also comes with hard work.
Everyday we are writing, rehearsing, and working with our agent to book live performances to keep in full pursuit of our endeavors.
With over 200 songs already released, three new records on the way, and roughly just under 100 new songs in the works, Kilfeather shows no signs of slowing down.
