Meet La Chula Crew

Today we’d like to introduce you to La Chula Crew.

La Chula Crew was founded in late 2017 by Martina – she wanted to better our communities by uplifting the locals with positivity and support, helping promote small businesses, empowering individuals, giving back to our communities, and rounding up others who wanted to do the same. She found that one of her best friends, Chelsea Rose Muniz, shared the same vision and from then on we embarked on this journey together.

Networking throughout different communities both in person and online. They strive to make their communities a better place by utilizing their skills, talents, passions and sharing them with those in need. La Chula Crew stands for commUNITY because they believe that there is strength in numbers. The more of them that give back to their communities the faster they can create a better place for their youth, elderly, and those in unfortunate situations.

They are a group that is capable of many trades and unlimited talents. They’ve grown and are fortunate that so many women who share the same passion and vision all want to give back to their communities as well. Many of them are hair and makeup artists, real estate agents, crafters, have knowledge of law and welfare aid, clothing designers, and more!

Using all of their talents, skills, and connections, they educate and empower each other and those around us.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It actually hasn’t been too much of a bumpy road to get here, thankfully. A lot of small business have embraced us, helped us grow as a community organization, and helped us reach those in need. We love helping their businesses grow as well. We’ve been very fortunate to be surrounded by like-minded individuals and businesses who all want the same thing; to better our communities by giving back.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
What we are most known for at the moment is our collaborative giveaways. We host one big giveaway every other month and feature different small businesses. Each box has a unique theme. We all contribute and create a giveaway where we all share and encourage our audiences to follow and tag others which results in more public recognition and potential buyers for each other.

We find that promoting each other and uplifting fellow small businesses help EVERYONE. It helps those who own the businesses, encourages our communities to shop small, and even shows others that giving back to their communities is better for us. When we shop small we create better environments, more opportunities, and better business in our communities.

We love to help women in need as well by donating clothing and supplies to battered woman shelters. We also like to feature children from our communities.

#YoungPeopleBigDreams encourages our youth to chase after their dreams and share their talent with their communities; we help guide them towards the right path and how to go about turning their passions into their career.

We are so proud of giving back to our communities in this way because it creates a better place for all of us to thrive and succeed.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We plan on becoming bigger as an organization. We hope to host our own markets soon that feature small businesses and those trying to grow. We want to give back to our communities as much as possible so we plan on hosting some big events that benefit those in need.

We want to have workshops eventually that steer start-up businesses in the right direction and teach them networking tools needed to help them flourish. We’re even working on some apparel and stickers to help promote our cause.
