Meet Lacie Evans of Laced With Sugar LLc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lacie Evans.

Hi Lacie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my business selling cereal, milk, cupcakes, and I would cook all the time. I started selling plates and then I actually started catering and became a private chef. I’ve traveled all over the world providing my chef services. My grandma taught me how to cook. I was raised by my dad who was a single father, and my grandma and grandpa helped raise me and that’s why I learned all of my cooking was from my grandma.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing good comes easy! I am so blessed to have come this far. I just lost my mom, so that has been really hard. also, no one talks about the balance between being a full-time mom working a 9-to-5 and managing a business and content creation at the same time it truly is really hard to balance everything.

As you know, we’re big fans of Laced With Sugar LLc. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is a Catering/Private chef/content creator business. What makes me different is the recipes are outside of the box, things you’ve never seen before. I make my clients have experiences through food!
