Lauren, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
My background is television. I used to work as a network producer. I have since moved on to running my own production team and offering photography services in southern California. I’m a military spouse, and although I’ve lived many places, I consider Socal home. I’m so honored to work with people from all walks of life in our corner of the United States and capturing beautiful, genuine memories.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’ve loved every step of the way, it can be tough when I have to move with the military to rebuild the business, but I’m thankful for all my clients.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Lauren Lewis Photography – what should we know?
I’m known for natural light portraits, specializing in families and children. Because my background is journalism, and I’m a mom, I focus my sessions on being as efficient as possible, moving quickly before we lose the patience of children, and capturing all moments – not just posed moments. I find that my clients love the “in between” moments the best, and like having lifestyle photos along with posed photos.
