Meet Leann Parker of West Eleven Lane

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leann Parker.

Leann, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Through successfully managing renovations at my own rental properties, I learned how much I enjoyed the process and decided to expand to help others.

Has it been a smooth road?
Whenever you own a business, there are a lot of unknowns and situations where you need to move through uncertainty and fear. The practice of constant growth has helped me to get used to the feeling and move through it a bit easier over time.

We’d love to hear more about the business.
West Eleven Lane began in Southern Maine. Over time, we’ve moved to Southern California and we’re proud to have served clients from Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, North Carolina, Florida, and of course here in California. Our studio is best known for modern coastal style, but we also enjoy working with both modern farmhouse and contemporary styles. West Eleven Lane offers both full service renovation and furnishing as well as virtual – which has been incredibly popular this year, as you can imagine.

In 2018, we launched our YouTube channel to share a bit more of our projects behind the scenes. We were featured as the cover story for Calavera Hills Magazine in April 2019 and recognized in both 2019 and 2020 for “Best of Service” by Houzz. In the first quarter of 2020, “West Eleven Lane the Shop” was born in order to make our signature modern coastal style more accessible to people across the US.

We’re proud to place customer service first always by continuously anticipating clients’ needs. Additionally, we support our community through contributions to the San Diego Food Bank and Toys for Tots.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Coming from the Northeast, I have to say the weather. It allows us to be active and healthy all year easily. I also love people. We’ve made friends at the beach, house showings, and local restaurants with ease. In other parts of the country, that isn’t necessarily commonplace. I also love the terrain. I’m always in awe of the beautiful views, simply driving around.
