Meet Leila Macias of Esthetics Cafe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Leila Macias.

Hi Leila, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My love for skincare started during covid, it was towards the end of my freshman year. I had bad acne and wasn’t sure how to handle it or take care of my face. I started looking into different brands, what products they have and what ingredients were in those products. I then started looking into treatments and what could benefit my skin. After I graduated High School I signed up for Bellus Academy and 1 year later here I am with my own business and a passion to help others on their skincare journey!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey hasn’t been easy—I’ve faced many challenges, both large and small. But the toughest obstacle was overcoming my own self-doubt. I used to push myself relentlessly, believing I wasn’t good enough at my trade. With time, though, I started to believe in myself, and my confidence began to grow!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Esthetics Cafe was born from my love for skincare and my personal journey with severe breakouts as a teenager. I created this space for anyone starting their skincare journey—a place where clients can relax, feel supported, and see real results. I offer facials, body treatments, and hair removal services, with my anti-aging facial being a client favorite. What sets Esthetics Cafe apart is the heart behind it: I truly understand the emotional side of skincare, and I’m here to provide not just treatments, but a comforting, judgment-free experience. I want every client to leave feeling refreshed, confident, and excited to return. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, building this business at a young age and creating a brand rooted in care, growth, and transformation.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I believe trust and honesty are essential to success in my career, especially in the world of esthetics. Clients are putting their confidence in you during an intimate, vulnerable moment, and it’s so important they feel safe, respected, and cared for. Building that trust creates a deeper connection and allows me to give each client the best experience possible.
