Hi Manuel, thank you so much for sitting down with us again. For folks who might have missed our initial interview, can you start by briefly introducing yourself?
I am a licensed real estate professional in San Diego, CA. I have been in the business for 3 years and have closed over $30M in sales. My real estate business revolves around helping home sellers and home buyers accomplish their real estate goals. I do this by guiding them through the process of the sale which I consider to be both a privilege and a responsibility that I takes quite seriously. Prior to joining the world of Real Estate, I was in the high line automotive industry working for such brands as Porsche and Lamborghini. There I became an expert in figuring out how to provide clients a tailored, high end customer service and deliver results. I start with fully appreciating each client and then finding creative ways to fulfill their Real Estate needs, this is how I approach my love for sales. Looking to purchase a new home? Avoid feeling overwhelmed and use my experience and knowledge to find the home of your dreams. Thinking of selling? Exposure is everything. How have you adapted given Covid and the current changes to real estate?
Covid hit everyone in different ways. I know for a lot of agents it felt like limbo for a bit. But as a professional agent I shifted into gear and used my tools, knowledge and studies to continue to help clients. I studied the market and I kept a close eye on everything. I adapted by going all in and updated my website with up to date news for buyers/sellers. I also utilized social media and platforms like YouTube, blogs, Instagram and Facebook to show value and provide insight on how covid was affecting the market. I had clients who were calling me afraid of selling and others desperate to buy, I reassured them that this was not 2008, the market is different, inventory is low which makes it an extremely hot sellers’ market. And at the same time interest rates are at historic lows making it a great time to purchase. We are slowly getting back to “normal” but I doubt it will ever be the same for realtors. I am fortunate that tech and social media has helped me run my business on all cylinders and has helped me grow my team.

In your view, what does the future of the real estate transactions look like?
Real estate transactions are very personal. It’s one of the biggest if not the biggest asset a person will purchase or sell and so I doubt it will ever be automated by big tech companies trying to cut out the agent. People like dealing with people, they like picking up the phone and having a person answer, they like sending text messages expressing their feelings or concerns of how the transaction is going. Yes, every agent is different, the consumer experience, relationship and transaction are owned by the agent. I have dealt with agents who don’t know very well how to perform and so I highly encourage buyers and sellers to work with full time agents who have experience or who are part of a team that will be there for them. The real estate transactions are extremely complicated and having someone who has studied the contracts is important.

What separates you from other agents during these crazy times?
I work for every deal. I am always ON no matter what and what I mean by that is my clients can always reach me. I represent my clients to its full capacity and lookout for them through the entire process. I follow up, follow through and follow back to all my past present and future clients. This is something very important to me and I take it extremely serious. Every client is different, some like to touch base once a week others want to know every single detail of what is going on every day. This is what separates me from others, I know how to adapt to their personalities and so this gives me the upper hand. I am able to tailor my customer service and provide a modern real estate experience.
