In April 2023, I took the reins of Carlsbad Mom Walks, pouring my heart and soul into its growth. With dedication and passion, I’ve expanded our reach, forging partnerships with businesses eager to cater to the needs of moms. Beyond walks, I’ve cultivated a nurturing community, providing a safe haven where moms can seek resources, ask questions, and find solace in shared experiences. This endeavor perfectly complements my parenting podcast, New Mom Talk, which serves as a vital resource for parents in the perinatal period and beyond. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of support and access to information, and I thrive on being a connecting point for moms to valuable resources.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Though the road to where I am now has been a bit bumpy, I’ve definitely made progress compared to where I was a year ago. As a one-mama show, I handle everything for Carlsbad Mom Walks. That means I’ve got to be a pro at balancing and prioritizing. Managing my time is crucial, especially with the constant juggling act of running the show and being a mom. The trickiest part? Wrangling social media and finding just the right businesses that fit what our mamas need. But hey, I’m up for the challenge, fueled by my passion for building a tight-knit community for moms like us.

At the core of my business is a dedication to uniting moms and parenting resources within a supportive community. From pregnancy to postpartum and beyond, I strive to offer families the support and connection they need. I have a passion for collaborating with small and local businesses that cater to the unique needs of moms, whether through products or services that simplify their lives. My mission is twofold: to provide these businesses with exposure to a targeted audience and to shed light on the incredible offerings they bring to the table for my followers. Through sponsorship opportunities at my events and a comprehensive Business Resources page, I aim to empower parents by providing them with the resources they need and deserve. Together, we’re building a community where no question goes unanswered and where every family can thrive.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my earliest and most cherished childhood memories is venturing to Disneyland with my sisters – it was truly magical. Fast forward to today, and I’m beyond thrilled to be passing on that enchantment to my son, creating new memories and sharing such a special place with him. Seeing his eyes light up with wonder just like mine did back then is pure joy.
