Marquis, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’ve always had a passion for cars at a young age, and before my business, I made sure to always keep a clean vehicle. One day my Mom. Seen an Ad around Christmas time that was running a special with the equipment I needed for half off. We both decided that it would be a low start-up cost as well as a low monthly overhead that can bring in a decent monthly income, so I decided to give it a shot! I got to where I’m at today by a lot of referrals, personally going out to hand out flyers and of course ensuring that my work is to my client’s standards and delivering them with excellent customer service!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Like everything in life, there will always be a few roadblocks along the way you just have to know how to get around them and keep rolling! I’ve gone through two cracked water hoses, a leaking water tank which took a little while to find out where it was leaking from. The biggest roadblock was my transmission going out and having to get it rebuilt. Then having continuous problems with it after that.

We specialize in 100% hand washes, hand wax, and ceramic coatings. We’re known for showing up to your place of residence or establishment on time with a smile ready to work! Most proud our contract with WD-40 and just how much the company has grown in a short amount of time. Most of our business comes from referrals so that’s something I’m very proud about, that means people are impressed by our work! What sets us apart from other detail companies is the quality of our work and our mission isn’t ultimately finished until our customers are completely satisfied!
Do you feel like our city is a good place for businesses like yours? If someone was just starting out, would you recommend them starting out here? If not, what can our city do to improve?
Yes, I feel like San Diego is a great city to start a mobile detailing business. Yes, I would recommend them starting here, because we know it’s just about summertime weather year around!
