Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Rayol
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As someone who recently moved to San Diego, I felt a strong desire to connect more deeply with the female community here. I envisioned creating a space that blended wellness, intentional living, and authentic connection—something that felt elevated yet approachable.
One day, during a nail appointment with Gabriella—who’s now my co-founder—I shared this vision for what would become Matcha On Ice. In less than two months, we brought it to life.
On March 23rd at Fox Point Farms, we hosted our very first event. It was a beautiful day filled with movement, community, and purpose. We kicked things off with an energizing workout class, and welcomed an amazing lineup of vendors and sponsors including Blenders Eyewear, LSKD, Slate Milk, Nine Glow, and Eat Lume.
What started as a simple idea to build community has grown into something much bigger—and we’re just getting started.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We’ve been incredibly lucky to have had amazing support from the community and the women who’ve shown up for us—especially on social media. The energy, encouragement, and genuine excitement from our audience has truly been the heart of Matcha On Ice. We’re so grateful for this community that continues to show up and grow with us.
That said, the journey hasn’t been without its challenges. One of the biggest struggles has been self-confidence and dealing with the doubts that naturally come with being an entrepreneur. When you’re building something from scratch, it’s easy to question whether you’re doing it “right” or if people will truly resonate with your vision.
But what’s helped us push through is staying rooted in our *why*—creating intentional, empowering spaces for women—and reminding ourselves that progress over perfection is part of the process.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Matcha On Ice is a social wellness club based in San Diego, created to bring women together through movement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection. We host curated monthly events that blend fitness, wellness experiences, and community-building in beautiful, intentional spaces.
What sets us apart is our focus on creating a vibe that feels both elevated and inclusive. We’re not just another workout event—we’re building a lifestyle community where women can show up as their full selves, connect with like-minded people, and explore wellness in a way that feels inspiring and fun. From high-energy workouts and cold plunges to journaling prompts and wellness activations, every detail is thoughtfully curated.
We’re most proud of the community that’s formed so organically around the brand. It’s powerful to see women cheering each other on, supporting local vendors, and coming back each month not just for the workout, but for the experience and connection.
At its core, Matcha On Ice is more than an event—it’s a movement. And we’re just getting started.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For us, success is defined by impact—not numbers. It’s in the energy of the room, the conversations sparked, and the connections made. If someone leaves a Matcha On Ice event feeling more empowered, more connected, or simply more like themselves, that’s success.
We also define success by how aligned we are with our purpose. As long as we’re staying true to our mission—creating intentional spaces for women to move, connect, and grow—then we know we’re on the right path.
