Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well, it all started when I got this brilliant idea to try and save money by learning to do my own press ons and stop going to the nail shop every two weeks! As a mom of 2, I found myself trying to juggle between something I loved for myself & saving money! I soon realized that I am just one of so many moms and women who also love getting their nails done but had to cut back on that extra expense. So I thought to myself how can help? Thus is born Senai Nails.
Senai Nails, is a luxury press on nail business specializing in salon quality press on nails for 1/2 the salon price and time! I offer pre-designed sets that are customizable to your specific nail beds through sizing kits, as well as custom design ordering for those who wanna see their designs come to life with a set they love. All sets are available in different shapes and lengths giving the consumer that salon experience still. Along with personal sets we also offer personalized subscriptions services. So every month we ship out boxes filled with custom nails, application kits, and goodies unique to the consumer!
Senai Nails has been a dream that I brought to reality and have built from the ground up! Through many trials and tribulations, this small business of mine has exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to see where it takes me as the owner/founder & where it grows to as a business.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Oh god no! There was so much unknown knowledge about the press on nail business that I had yet to discover when I first started this. From product knowledge & pricing to marketing and branding. I am a self-taught Nail Artist and I’ve spent hours and hours of researching and testing out products and practicing nail Art techniques and designs. Not only was it a rough start learning everything by myself but it was also very costly as well. However, I’ve live by the phrase “You gotta spend money to make money” and to me, it’s paid off well! Every time I get a new client order or even a returning client order it shows that all my dedication has paid off.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I make luxury press on nails with salon quality products for half the salon price. If I asked my clients what I’m known for they’d probably say my nail designs. There is no design I won’t try at least once and I take the time to study a perfect all my nail art designs. Nail Art can be so stressful but it is always extremely rewarding seeing a full set come to life.
I am most proud of my growth as a nail artist & business owner. Creating and running a business from the ground up is very challenging every day.
However, Senai Nails has surpassed my goals and then some. I personally have developed a crazy sense of patience and appreciation for Art as well as the business side of things. Being an entrepreneur and small business owner has been a journey on its own and I’m proud to be a part of it!
I would say what sets me apart is my customer service skills. From the very first inquiry to the time you put on your set, I am with you. I am there every step of the way to help you get your dream set. I help through the design process, ordering process & even at times the application of the nails process. I take pride in making sure every customer feels welcomed and heard, that they get everything they wanted out of their experience with me.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my happiest memories as a child has got to be tanning in 100°+ weather drinking iced tea & laying on lawn chairs with my grams. She lived in Montana and my littlest sister and I would go out there during the summers while school was out. My grams and I always had a very special bond and every summer we were stuck like glue. Every memory with her is my favorite.
Although she is no longer with me earth side, she will always have my heart and I cherish the memories we do have!
